*DAY 5: “EVERY MUSLIM SHOULD SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES OF MSSN ON CAMPUS” – PROFESSOR OLADOSU*

* summarized By: Olayiwola Toheeb*

Professor Afis Oladosu has explained that because MSSN has always filled the gap of brotherhood among Muslims on campus, therefore all its activities should be supported by all Muslim "brosters" on campus.

He made this declaration during the Daw'ah Enlightenment lecture which took place at UI Central Mosque yesterday while discussing the topic the Estranged Camaraderie.

He said believers are brothers to one another and that Ibnu Taimiyah classified brotherhood into four groups. The four classes are those who can render any assistance but will never ask for assistance, those who expect assistance but are not ready to give assistance, parasitic brothers that live on other persons for all their needs and solitary brothers who neither ask nor give assistance. He added that prayers prayed for somebody in his absence is one of the prayers that get answered quickly and therefore urged everyone to remember his/her friends during prayer.

Thinking that your own Islam is better than that of others, appearance becoming barrier, wanting the Rome of another person's Eeman to be built in a day, and non domestication of experience gotten outside the country among others are factors he pointed out as contributing to our estranged brotherhood.

He said that the absence of brotherhood is not only peculiar to us but is also on the international level sighting example of Qatar who was recently expelled from the Gulf countries.

The Daw'ah Enlightenment marked the Day 5 of the MSSN UI 1439 Jihad Week themed moribund heritage; the Week continues today with the final of the Inter-Hall Football Competition which is to be played between the Noble Sultan Bello and the Great Independence Halls on SUB pitch after ‘asr.

Preposition Collocations

Prepositions, unarguably, cause a great deal of confusion because they can be so tricky. Just like words collocate, prepositions can collate with nouns, verbs and adjectives (collocation means the use of certain words together).
