A Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Ibadan, Dr. Abdulwasii Olabimiji Ajagbe has suggested pragmatic approaches which can be employed by the government to make Ibadan the neatest city in Nigeria.
 
 

Dean of Faculty Arts to Students: ASUU Strike is for Your Benefit'

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, Professor Oyeshile said that the ongoing ASUU strike is majorly for the benefit of Nigerian students and not only for the lecturers.

The Dean said this at the First Day of Orientation Week organised by the Association of Faculty of Arts Students (AFAS) on Thursday, 10th March, 2022 at the Large Lecture Theatre LLT of the Faculty.

The newly-matriculated Muslim students of University of Ibadan visited the wife of the Oyo State Deputy Governor who doubles as a Lecturer at the institution, Professor Hamdalat Bola Olaniyan, on Sunday, 27th of February 2022 at her residence at Jericho in Ibadan.

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria,  University of Ibadan branch organised a programme for the newly-matriculated Muslim Students of the University today, 25th of February, 2021 at the University Central Mosque to mark the second day of this year's Orientation Week Programme.
