MSSNUI Distributes Ramadan Package to Members

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, through the Ramadan Planning Committee (RPC) , on Sunday, 25th April, 2021 started the distribution of Ramadan package to members.

The relief package for members is in line with the aims of the society to look after the welfare of all member students.

The distribution of the package to members is being done in accordance with the prescriptive measures laid down by the school management to the curb the spread of Covid-19.

SIGMA CLUB ADMITS NEW MEMBERS

The Sigma Club, University of Ibadan, on 26th April, 2021 offered provisional admission to new members and signed them into their roll of honour.

Prior to the admission, the club had earlier held both Oral and written interviews for the prospective candidates. The written interview was a test of mathematics and logic; the Oral interview was done before a panel of th Sigma chief and some Sigma alumni.

MSSNUI PROVIDES IFTAR FOR AGODI INMATES

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, University of Ibadan branch, through the Prison Yard Vistation Committee(PYVC) declared her intention to start her annual Iftaar programme for the inmates of Agodi Correctional Centre, yesterday, 20th April, 2020.

The iftaar programme is a continuation of the time-to-time succour being given to the inmates by the committee. The programme started today, Wednesday the 21st of April, 2021 and it's expected to hold through the days of Ramadan- Wednesdays and Saturdays. t

UI Alumnus Named One of the Best America's Best Physicians

UI ALUMNUS NAMED ONE OF THE AMERICA'S BEST PHYSICIAN

Professor Iyalla Elvis Peterside, an alumnus of UI set 1985, has been named one of America's best physician for the year 2021 by the US National Consumer Adversory Board.

Dr. Peterside is a professor of pediatrics and neonatology at the University of Pennsylvania medical school and a consultant at the children's hospital of Philadelphia considered one of the best children's hospital in the world for over 20 years.

In a congratulatory message released by the Muslim Students'Society of Nigeria, University of Ibadan branch on Friday, 26th of March, 2021, the society congratulate all members who were recently inducted into the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria by the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ibadan, at a ceremony held at the School. 
 

University of Ibadan Announces Post UTME Screening Dates

University of Ibadan, on 25th March, 2021, through her 4366th bulletin, announced the date of her Post UTME Screening Exercise. 

In the bulletin signed by the Registrar of the School, Olubunmi O. Faluyi, prospective candidates who have registered for the post UTME are informed about the screening which will be Computer Based Test (CBT), and will start on Tuesday, 06 April to Saturday, 10 April, 2021.

The Acting vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Babatunde Ekanola, made this statement during his address at the 2020/2021 virtual matriculation event held at the Trenchard Hall on Tuesday, the 16th of March, 2021.  

As the university matriculated 4,174 students, Prof Ekanola admonished the matriculants to be of good character and be diligent towards their primary objectives on campus. 

Adh-Dhikr Press Organisation to Launch MSSNUI's Quarterly Newsletter

Adh-Dhikr Press organisation is set to launch MSSNUI's Quarterly Newsletter later this week.

Al Ilm Newsletter is the publication of Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria through her media arm, Adh-Dhikr press organisation.This edition is aimed at complimenting the recently concluded Orientation week Programme . The contents are tailored towards acquisition of knowledge and to underscore its importance for wheresoever and howesoever.

According to the Editor-in-Chief, Amanatullah Adedeji, he disclosed the format of the newsletter to be electronic.
