UIMGA HOLDS EMPOWERMENT SEMINAR FOR MUSLIM FINALISTS

University of Ibadan Muslim Graduates' Association held her annual empowerment seminar for UI Muslim Finalists today, 8th of March,2020 at University of Ibadan Central Mosque.

The seminar which was aimed at empowering the finalists with minds that see opportunities in entrepreneurship was chaired by Barrister Ogunrinde, a member of Oyo State Judicial Council.

WINDSTORM CAUSES UI TO CHANGE INAUGURAL LECTURE VENUE

Consequent to the windstorm of Saturday, 9th March, 2019, the university of Ibadan has changed the venue for its 454th inaugural lecture.
The lecture titled Addicted to Challenge: Man, Microbes and the Quest for Energy to be delivered by Professor Onilude had earlier being scheduled to hold at Trenchard Hall but was shifted to CBN lecture theatre because of the windstorm that damaged facilities in the university including Trenchard Hall will now be held at the University's International conference center.

CREATED INNOVATIONS WILL BE SHOWCASED TOMORROW - BARRISTER MUTIU AGBOKE

Oyo State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Barrister Mutiu Agboke, on Friday while addressing the Muslim faithful at the University of Ibadan central mosque after jumah service said politicians who plan to rig this year's election are ignorant of the mechanisms put in place by the electoral umpire - INEC - and the "created innovations will be showcased tomorrow".

MSSNUI Organize The Second Edition Of Brothers’ Forum

Tedder Hall mosque was full to its brim on Sunday, November 12, 2017 when brethren from various halls of residence came in the*ir numbers to attend the second Brothers’ Forum of the current dispensation. The topic of discourse was “Gamephobia; aetiology and remedy” and the lecturer was Mallam Kolawole AbdulHakeem, Abu Atiyyah.

“Three things are important for a successful marriage: Complete and sound knowledge, moderate Islamic disposition, and moral uprightness,” the lecturer explained.

NIMechE UI Hold Their First Conference

On Monday, 6th November, 2017, the Nigerian Institute of Mechanical Engineers, University of Ibadan Branch (NIMechEUI), held, at the Trenchard Hall, their first conference which had, in special attendance, the 1987 set.

The conference was tagged ‘Mechanical Engineering: Past Present Future’ and also had, as part of its programme, career talks from some alumni of 1987 and for this year’s final year (500 level) students of the Department.
