Professor Oloyede, the Chief Imam University of Ibadan Central Mosque, has charged students to be more vigilant in their daily activities. He created this awareness in the last part of his last Friday Sermon. He went on to say that aside his call for the students to be more vigilant, necessary preventive measures will be put in place around the mosque itself.

In today's sermon, the Imam urged Muslims to hold steady the rope of Allah and abide by His words as Allah has decreed worship to him and to no other. He admonished Muslims to disregard the belief in the trinity of Jesus.
He corroborated this by citing Qur’an 4:156-158 which states,
