“Ó DA, AM I NOT A MODERATE MUSLIM SISTER?”

Being a Muslim sister is not just only by proclamation; it is also by practice and being a role model. It is not by self-ego, but by readiness to yield to correction. It is not by being moderate in the sight of western culture philosophers; it's by being moderate in the sight of the Ummah. Moderation in this context is not mediocrity, but doing things the way they are expected to be done.

Sister, don't you think you are tempting many 'innocent' brothers with that tight pair of trousers? Don't you think their motor neurons always vibrate anytime they gaze at your reflecting 'backward' shape? Don't you think they salivate when they can confidently swallow the brand of your underwear some metres away from you? Don't you think their cerebral cortex spark the moment they see these different advertising shapes of yours on the internet? Oh! Your friends say you are hot and sweet in that shouting pair of jeans? I wonder when you become water which temperature needs to be left at 100 degrees centigrade. Or are you now a Pop sweet licked by children? Hmmmm! You want to be moderate abi? 'Chai! Theris God ooo. Don't tempt that 'gentle' devil nah!

Sister, the last time I called you by your Islamic name in the midst of fellow Muslim brethren, you answered with delight. How come do you always shun being addressed with that name anytime you are in the midst of your non-Muslim friends? You ain't proud of your nomenclature? Oh! You are moderate. Perhaps, these friends of yours will be angry if you let them know your Islamic name. When will Mákùú will not finally kú? 'Na only you waka come?' Why pleasing them??

Aunty mi òwón , anytime we are in Islamic gatherings, you dare not shake hands with the opposite sex, whether a Muslim or not. But, I have seen you on many occasions shaking hands with countless numbers of opposite sex. “Afterall, Ameer doesn't see me nah; abi why can't I even enjoy my life for a while?” Oh! Are you following the Ameer or your Creator? Do you only fear your Creator when your Ameer is present with you? Chai, let's fear God oooo! Life will continue behind the Ameer pfa.

Anyways, òrò mi ò lópin, sùngbón màá d'ánu dúró ná(...but I rest here). Éniti òrò yìí bá tabá kó fi s'oşùn, kó sì tún ibè se nítorí pé òrùn tó wà lókè tó așo o gbe
